Adam Curtis Collaboration Award

Supporting training visits, technology transfer and new collaborative research.

About the award

Named in honour of Professor Adam Curtis, whose work exemplified interdisciplinary collaboration in tissue engineering and cell–material interactions, the Adam Curtis Collaboration Award (ACCA) provides £1,000 for short-term training visits and collaborative activities.

The scheme aims to help researchers gain specialist skills, exchange techniques and develop collaborations that may lead to future joint publications or grant proposals.

Eligibility

Under the Society’s published criteria, the award supports second- and third-year PhD students and postdoctoral research associates who are TCES members. Activities may include visits to specialist laboratories in the UK or to TCES-member laboratories in Europe.

Applications and deadline

Applicants should submit a CV, an invitation from the host, a letter of support from their supervisor, and the completed form setting out the proposed objectives, schedule and deliverables. Applications go to Prof Nicholas Evans.
